other:
Your Name: Hazel, Or just call me Echosong.
Roleplaying Experience: I'm reasonably literate. At least one good paragraph per post, More than two when I have reasonable muse.
Your Opinion: I like the site layout and all, But I think instead of the chatbox we have now, it'd be better for a different kind. Preferablly one that doesn't make a lot of noise.
character:
Name: Echosong
Gender: She-cat
Age: 29 moons.
Clan: RiverClan.
Rank: Medicine Cat. (Auditioned.)
Description: Echosong has a lithe build, obviously built for running instead of fighting. Her legs are long, and she's quite thin. Some would call her pretty, but a long scar across her muzzle keeps them from doing such. When it comes to scars, she has multiple. Two on her front leg, along with the one across her muzzle. The scars are red and scabbed, as if they refuse to heal. They hurt every now and then, but it doesn't bother her.
When it comes to fur color, Echosong is a brown-colored tabby cat. Most of her body is a lighter, chocolatey colored brown, while the stripes are much darker and distinct against her paler colored pelt. Flecks of black, white, and grey go all through her body, mostly on her muzzle. Her paws, stomach, and chest are a creamy white color. Not necessarily white, it's more tinted yellow. Echosong's eyes are a pure, emerald green.
Personality: Echosong has a secluded personality. That is to say, talking to other cats for her is.. hard. She's always a little nervous when it comes to talking to the leaders and those from other clans. She stutters on occasion, but she is improbing when it comes to being close to others. Echosong is dedicated to her healing, and she refuses to give up easily. She isn't huge on clan borders, but like a warrior, she will fight when needed. She's normally quite calm and easygoing. Echosong loves all of her clan very dearly- Except for when the kits annoy her. When she's angry, it's better to avoid her, because she'll snap and hiss at anyone.
Summary: A small brown tabby she-cat with green eyes.
History: Echosong was born in RiverClan, and she was the smallest of her litter. The herbs a medicine cat used were intriguing to her, and the current medicine cat, Stripetail, was perfectly willing to let her help out with small things like cuts and thorns. As she grew, she didn't playfight as much as her brothers did, and being as small as she was, Echokit was never well suited to be a warrior.
When it came time to be an apprentice, Echokit managed to bring together enough bravery to ask to be Stripetail's apprentice. He was glad she'd decided to be his apprentice, and Stripetail accepted happily. Echopaw progressed through her apprenticeship quite well and she learned all she needed to. She was given her full medicine cat name, and a few days afterward, Stripetail passed on. Echosong mourned for him, but she moved on with her duties.
Family: Mother: Rosetail
Father: Fireclaw
Brothers: Lunarstep and Thunderheart.
Mate: No mate.
Roleplaying Sample: Was it just him, or did she seem...hesitant? Maybe that was the right word.. Her long bouts of silence were making him pretty confused now. Was she just thinking or being hesitant to answer- or rather, ask? Oh, great, now my mind is wondering. He sighed quietly, then blinked as he made eye contact with her again. Shaking his head as she looked away, he looked down at the floor, intertwining his fingers. At the sound of her question, he looked up again.
Where had Edward and Alphonse disappeared to? That was simple enough. Pausing for a moment to choose his words, he answered. "They went through the Gate. To the other side, a place called Germany." Pride said slowly, wondering why Gluttony wasn't making eye contact.
Now she was offering to answer his questions? He only had one, really, that he could think of for now. "Erm, Gluttony, What book did you find about them? I haven't seen any in Kaa-san's library. Did you get books about them from someone else?" He asked, looking at her, eyes curious. "Unless it was mentioned in a book that wasn't about them."
