On that subject, he always does his best to help out a cat in need. He would never neglect a in serious pain of any type. In battle he will fight until he can't anymore. Blazinghope is liked by many cats and makes a good friend to anyone who enjoys the company of talkative cats. (Haha, sounds like I'm making a profile for an online dating website xD )
History: Snow was falling so hard, Blazinghope couldn't even see three fox lengths ahead of him. All he had found were two tiny mice. It had been almost impossible to even find what he had. Wearily, he crawled back under the bush where his mate lay asleep. He knew medicine cats weren't aloud to have kits. Or at least she cats weren't. Were medicine cats aloud to have kits if they were toms? He'd have to see. But something more important was happening right now, his mate would probably have her kits very soon. Good thing he was a Medicine Cat and knew how to deliver kits.
The moon reflected off of the freshly fallen snow. It was moon high and not a creature stirred anywhere. Morningflower lay asleep with her two new kits. It would be hard to care for them since there was barely enough prey for the rest of them. It worried him what the cats of AshClan would say when he returned, days after disappearing, with Morningflower and two kits. They would figure out instantly what had happened. He would become the shame of the clan for having kits as a Medicine Cat. Not able to stand the though of what would happen, Blazinghope crept out from under the bush and ran. He didn't look back.
The first few days on his own were hard and tiring. Blazinghope hardly eaten because he was too worried about what might have happened to Morningflowerand her kits. She couldn't hunt for herself and her kits so she would most likely starve. She couldn't leave kits not even a quarter of a moon old alone by themselves. Suddenly he felt he had made a very bad mistake. Morningflower had probably died by now and it was all his fault. Knowing that, he kept going. Where he was going, he still did not know. He couldn't go back to AshClan. Blazinghope would have to find a new home with a new clan somewhere. Hopefully that clan would accept him in with them, even though they knew absolutely nothing of his past life.
Some sunrises later, Blazinghope found himself standing on a moor with rolling hills. From where he stood, he could see forever. The land had many different kinds of territory. There was moorland, oak trees, tall pines, a lake, and a river bank. It seemed like the perfect place for cats to live. He decided that he liked the moorland best because of it's open lands and the cool breeze that was a constant presence as he stood alone. Blazinghope kept walking around the open land for a while until he found what looked like a camp almost. He could smell many cats living inside, their scents fresh mingled in with the smell of prey and herbs. Blazinghope decided that he should try and make a home here with these cats.
Role-Play Sample: He had been sent out for a purpose. It was important that he accomplish this task. No matter how cold it was or tired and hungry he was. A life might be lost if he did not hurry. A kit had fallen through the frozen waters of a stream. No cat knew why the kit was out of camp or how it had gotten out of camp. All that really mattered at the moment was saving it's poor little life. Blazinghope had no real plan on how to save it from drowning. The clan leader had just selected him for the job because he was the medicine cat and that just seemed like something for a medicine cat to do. So here he was, staring down over the edge of the river which lay below him. Peering over the edge, he tried to spot the gray furred kit. It wasn't the easiest color to find against the ice and snow, but at least it wasn't white. Then he saw it, struggling to keep it's head above the water. There wasn't much he could do to help it. He would have to jump in and grab it if he were to save it. Blazinghope took a few steps back and leaped into the melting ice of the river. The first thing he felt was the extreme cold, biting into him like the fangs of a giant animal. It almost took the breath out of him. Then Blazinghope spotted the kit and swam towards it. He grabbed it by the scruff of the neck and began to swim back to shore.
He dropped the kit on the frozen bank and shook himself off. He might be able to save the kit, if he can keep it warm. Blazinghope began to like the small shivering kit. He could feel it breathing but just ever so barely. He would have to take it back to the camp with him to make sure it could stay warm there. Picking the kit back up again, Blazinghope began trudging through the thick snow back towards the camp. He could hardly see now that the wind had picked back up and was blowing snow furiously towards him. He just hoped he was going the right way in all of the confusion. Then after what seemed like moons of walking on an endless path, he saw the camp up ahead. Blazinghope ran towards it as fast as he could through the snow. Warmth thrust through him as stepped into the camp out of the cold weather. The warmness of the camp gave him new determination to save the kit. He took it to his den and set it in a moss nest and began to lick it. Everything was going well and the kit would most likely live. Blazinghope let it sleep in his den as he went out to the center of the camp to announce that the kit would be fine and they didn't need to worry.
