Sometimes, life was hard. And sometimes, it was easy. But a life was never filled with just good things or just bad things, Life was a mixture of the two. Good things happened, and so did bad things. Taking your first steps, taking your first gulp of air, catching your first quarry. All these things were considered good things. Things that marked your development, showed your were only growing stronger and smarter by the day, or perhaps even by the moment. Most all individuals do the most development as a kit. That was when one could be molded and formed into practically anything. But there was a born and innate nature in each and every heart, spirit, and body. There was some things that no one, not even the cat itself could change. One couldn't change the color of their pelt, their gender, or sometimes even their nature. There were those that were born fighters, and those that just couldn't bring themselves to hurt another creature. For the clan or not, they just didn't have a warrior spirit. But that was why they were often medicine cats. Or perhaps even kittypets. Some might be born in a clan, but never could they amount to being a warrior, and their destiny no where near the life path of a medicine cat. What other choice did said cat have but to leave the clan if they couldn't fight to defend their clan?
A breeze blew over the flat, empty territory. Well, nearly empty. Crouched over a puddle was a beautiful calico she-cat. Her fur was silken, fused with sable, pearl, and amber. Each patch of color was rested atop a different patch. Amber atop white. Black atop amber. It was a random mixture of the three colors that made Cherryblossom who she was. Her tail twitched gently, longer than most average cat tails, measured in at thirteen inches. Gently, her ping tongue lapped gently at the puddle, sending ripples across the rest of the small pool of water. After a few moments, she lifted her head to take a look around her, ears perked and flickering occasionally at the sound of brush branches rattling against each other, dressed beautifully with emerald leaves. Her eyes, they were a beautiful light green. They shone beautifully in the sun's light, golden rays gently caressing her soft pelt, outlining her in a gentle halo of gold. As she swept her bright gaze over the land, she noted that there were very few scents of other cats. But there was i fact one other cat here other than herself. The scent, it was growing stale... But other than that single scent, and her own, there were no others aside from the scent of rabbit and the greenery that covered the soil of the earth under paw. She rose unto all fours from her haunches tail lashing twice before she took to a leisurely walk, lean but powerful muscles rippling beautifully beneath her fur. Beneath her fur, was a very a lithe and lithe she-cat, with plenty of lean muscle to make her lethal to any that posed a threat to her life, or the life of her unknown, unseen comrade. She stopped after a few yards of walking, testing the air again. It was a male cat that called this place home. Was it the leader, perhaps? Or just another warrior like herself?
As thoughts twisted and turned within the crevices of her mind, she began to walk again, tail lowered, but lifted so that it was a few inches above the tips of the grass blades. She ran her tongue over her lips, taking a deep inhale of air afterward, letting it escape her lungs in a soft sigh. She wondered if she might bump into the other windclan cat. The camp was so melancholy, so empty... She longed for another to speak with. She hoped to befriend this tom. Perhaps it wouldn't be much longer until more cats came and became windclan members. The thought excited her and perked up her hopes and rising her spirits as she continued to walk about the territory, learning the lay of the land, as well as searching for the tom cat whose scent she'd detected.

Something tickled his nose, and he opened his eyes. He was still in the warriors den. Stretching, Blazinghope sat up and looked towards the sky. Sunhigh was still a little far off, but prey would probably be running about by now. So he padded slowly out of the camp and onto the grassy moor. The high winds took him by surprise from some reason. For the first time, he noticed how strongly the wind blew through the moor. He respected it's power, and what gave WindClan it's noble name. Shaking his head to clear the thought, he continued onward.
After he had walked for a while he stopped to sit down and just scent the air around him. He could pick a few rabbits off in the distance, but there was something else that stood out past the others. It was definitely cat, in WindClan but he wasn't sure that he recognized it or not. Blazinghope stood up again to follow the strange scent, now it was even more clear, it was a WinClan she-cat. He was sure of it. but the scent still wasn't familiar. Then the scent of the other cat seemed to be growing stale. Taken away from him by the powerful winds of the moorland. Blazinghope began running now, trying hard not to lose the scent of the other cat. It seemed to be coming from the Sky Grass. Maybe the other cat got lost or something. as he drew closer it grew more clear who it was. Cherryblossom.
At least now he knew who he was looking for, Cherryblossom had beautiful Calico fur. He knew for sure that it would be easy to find her now. This would be a good time to talk to her, since he had always thought that she was pretty. Blazinghope plowed through the Sky Grass in hopes of finding her. It might take forever to search these seemingly infinite grasses! Just as he was about to give hope on finding her, he thought he saw something up in the distance. Without closer examination, he ran towards her.
OCC: Sorry, this is kind of bad =/

Sunhigh... Just a little longer until the golden sphere of fire and warmth would reach the climax of its daily climb. Yet still, the sun offered abundance in warmth and light. The beautiful silken she-cat mare her way around the territory slowy, enjoying the sites and scents. There wasn't many cats around. It seemed that it was only the tom and herself. His scent was still stale, but at the moment, she was more distracted with the beauty of the land that she was with the tom's faded scent. But if he was a windclan cat, then they were more than likely going to meet, one way or anther. The territory wasn't too large that no two cats would end up meeting. Not to mention the camp was at the heart, and odds were she would meet him there, if no where else in the windclanterritory. The strong winds blew in her face. Her ars pinned, and her pelt rippled in the wind's current as she continued to walk onward towards some what looked like a gorge in the distance. After a few moments more, she was standing at the edge of the large crack in the earth. A river ran powerfully and wildly at the bottom. Cherryblossom felt her fur stand on and, backing a few more inches away from the edge. Oh, the horror of the simple thought of falling into tht raging water. no doubt any cat other than riverclan maybe, would most likely lose their life if they plummetted over the edge... It sent shivers down her spine, just to think of meeting her death in such a horrifying way. Turning her back to the gorge, she cntinued her venture.
She picked up the pace to a jog, muscles working beautifully together beneath her calico fur, pawing falling with a gentle thud only to lift shortly into the air again to fall a few inches before the last place it was. Her gait was high spirited and energetic, light green eyes shining happily, despite her longing for companionship. The sound of something stirring in a nearby bush catches her attention, and she brings herself to a quicj stop, ears perked and eyes staring at the only bush nearby the sound could have come from. The sound stopped. At this point, Cherryblossom's curiosity was peaked, and so, she stalked over towards the bush, slitted pupils wide, her belly nearly dragging on the ground as she slowly moved towards it. But as she neared it, two sparrows burst from the bush and take flight, their wings flapping wildly as they scramble to get as far away from Cherryblossom as they possibly could manage. The she-cat sat back on her haunches, tail wrapping around her left flank, her tip resting atop her white tipped paws. She smiled as she watches them vanish into the distance, most likely in search for another bush or tree far away from her. And at this, the calico began to walk again, heading this time, toward the tall grasses that towered over the rest of the vegetation. But this didn't mean her mind wasn't still reeling about the two sparrows.
Perhaps, of all her favorite creatures, she most enjoyed the song of the sparrows. But at the same time, these two sparrows in particular made her thoughts move towards romance. Had she ever given thought to falling in love with a handsome tom, and raising a family? It had crossed her mind many times before, but she never really dwelled on it too long. But as she made her way towards the tall grass that was slowly but steadily growing closer, her decided to let it have its way with her mind, her senses still alert. She cou;d see herself with a small litter of kits, a shadowy figure of a tom standing behind her, grooming her shoulders tenderly. Cherryblossom sighed softly, with a hint of longing. At one point in her life, she hoped to have a litter of kits with the tom that captures her heart. But when would that day come? Was it in her near or far future, or even at all? She wishes, sometimes, that she knew...
She pushed the thoughts and questions aside as she finally reached the tall grass. She moved into them, feeling the strong blades brush against her as she pushed through them. She could hear a lot of scurrying, most likely coming from the many field mice that called these grasses their home and safety, though they were still easy to catch. But at the moment, she didn't really feel like hunting. After all, it was just her and one other cat. and at the moment, Cherryblossom just wanted to enjoy herself and the day ahead. Perhaps at night, she would set out for a mindnight stroll through these grasses and catch a large number of mice for the small clan. Or herself and the tom, rather, seeing as there wasn't anyone else to feed at the time. She felt the wind push from behind her. And with it, the scent of the tom. But instead it was fresh this time. She turned, and jogged back towards the open moor. It was then that she practically ran right tinto him. Slamming on the breaks, she stopped mere centimeters from his nose. She gave him a cheerfy smile, tinged with a sheepish and embarassed touch. So it had been Blazing hope this whole time? She felt rather shameful she couldn' have recongnized his scent. Her voice rang out, happy and chimey, like small silver bells.
" Oh, Blazinghope. So nice to see you."
She sits backn on her haunches her tail tucking close to her with her tip once again resting over her paws as she gazed at him with bright, happy light green eyes. She was happy he was here. she had been wanting to be with someone the whole day. So, she paitently waited for his response.
